What is solid perfume and how do you use it?

An alcohol-free form of fragrance carried in a jar and opened by the warmth of the skin. What solid perfume is and how to wear it day to day.

What is solid perfume and how do you use it?

Solid perfume presents fragrance in a firm, creamy texture instead of a liquid. There is no spray and no alcohol: the scent is applied to the skin with a fingertip and unfolds slowly with body heat. Throughout history fragrance was often carried in oils and waxes; solid perfume is a practical, present-day form of that old tradition.

Puzzle solid perfume

Puzzle solid perfumes come in 15 ml jars and are made with an alcohol-free, vegan formula. All eight fragrances are available in solid form: Lal, Fibonacci, Purgatory, Sarcastic, Daylight, Rayiha, Gece and Nagamani. Each lid carries the pattern evolved from the artist’s work, just like the bottles.

Why solid?

  • Alcohol-free. For anyone who wants to experience fragrance without alcohol.
  • Portable. In a bag, a pocket or a suitcase, with no risk of leaks.
  • Close to the skin. It leaves a nearer, more personal aura.
  • Controlled application. You decide exactly how much to wear.

How to use it

  1. Open the jar and take a small amount with your fingertip.
  2. Apply to pulse points: inner wrists, behind the ears, the neck, the inside of the elbows.
  3. Do not rub; let the warmth of the skin open the scent.
  4. Reapply during the day whenever you like.

In solid form a fragrance opens more softly than a liquid perfume and develops gradually on the skin. The journey described for Lal in solid form is a good example: a spark at first, a romantic symphony in the middle, and a sense of belonging at the end.
